Year 3 / 4 - Rowan Class

Hello and a big welcome to Rowan Class (Lower Key Stage 2 - Years 3 and 4).

In Rowan class, we strive to work hard and have loads of fun! The adults in our class that help us to do this are Mrs Fitch, Mrs Gwillim and Miss Perrian.

During our two years in Rowan Class, we build upon our learning from Holly and Cherry Class and prepare for our journey into Oak Class. We have student governors, which is great preparation for the greater responsibilities we have in Upper Key Stage 2. Every year we put on the Easter performance, which we really enjoy. Also in KS2, we attend the Young Voices Concert, which is the world’s largest choir. 

Our learning is hugely important to us and we are always working hard to do the very best that we can - whether that be in Maths and Literacy lessons or in other areas of the curriculum such as French or Music. We take pride in the learning that we are part of and develop a range of different ways to present our work: written explanations, verbal presentations and speeches, presentations created on our chromebooks to name just a few.

Each week we have PE on a Wednesday therefore, please ensure your child comes to school dressed in their PE kit.
